My cousin, Melissa, had her 2nd baby boy on Friday, December 19th! Name is Trent Ryland Powell, weighed 6lbs 11 ozs and was 19 1/2 inches long. He's the spitting image of Melissa. He's got the dark hair and complexion and everything. Its like seeing a male version of her! LOL

Christmas Pictures 2008

Hi! The girls and I went to get our pictures done today and they have come out so cute! Keeley looks so grown up and Bethaney looks so cute in her "big girl" shirt. :) Hope ya'll enjoy!!! My profile picture is one of the new ones as well. :) The best picture I've taken since high school! LOL I hope everyone has a good rest of the weekend!! I'm off to decorate the house more and to get the girls ready for their last week of school this week. They get out early on Friday!! They are both excited!

Orchestra Concert Tonight!

Keeley's Orchestra Concert was the best tonight! The kids did great on the songs that they did, especially since they were beginning orchestra and had basically only been playing their instruments for about 2 months (due to the hurricane).

Here are a couple of pics of Keeley that I took. Believe it or not, she's only 12! You'd think she was older as tall as she is (5'6"). LOL

Snow in Houston!!!

OMG!!!! It snowed in Houston and stayed on the ground overnight!!! As you can see by the pictures, it snowed pretty good. The weathermen are saying that the town I live in (Deer Park), got the most of it. We got 4" of snow on the ground. Now, for those of you in the North, ya'll are all used to it, but we NEVER get snow like this! The last time I remember snow like this was about 20 years ago! As I am writing this, it is 9:30am central time and there is still a TON of snow on the ground, I can't believe it! The funny thing is that my mom teaches Kindergarten in the next town over and they don't have any! LOL Figure that out! :)

That's my excitement for the day!

Oh, and tonight is Keeley's Orchestra Concert, where she is playing the cello, so you will be seeing some pictures of her in the morning and we'll be going to get pictures done (the girls and I) on Saturday so be on the lookout for those!

I've posted some pictures of Bethaney that were taken last night of her messing around in Daddy's Iowa Hawkeyes hat (that he loves). She looks so darn cute in those glasses! I'm still trying to figure out how to get a slideshow on here so that I can showcase all the plastic canvas projects that I've made in the last 6 months to a year. :) (Hint, Hint Auds)

I just got home from Keeley's last softball games for the fall season. The team did very well and so did Keeley. She caught a ball that if she had been any shorter she wouldn't have caught. LOL She's my sports star! :) Her boyfriend, Josh, got to come and see her play too. They are so cute together too. Ah, young love! LOL

Well, I have some laundry to do and cleaning to get done. I will be uploading more pictures of Bethaney later on too!!

It's a bright and shiny Thursday morning! One more day and its the weekend! LOL Then I get to sleep a little later, instead of getting up at 5:30am. Bethaney

Ok, so now Bethaney, who is only 5 years old, will be wearing glasses. She's the same age I was when I started wearing glasses, but sheesh, its sad to me. We got the 2 pairs of glasses for $99 deal and we can pick them up tomorrow after 7pm. She looks so cute in them too. One is pink and the other is purple. I'll post a picture after we get the glasses tomorrow so you can all see. Hopefully this will help her. :)
